Rogers has been working at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa for the past six years, her previous job titles including front desk agent, groups assistant, and front desk lead. She most recently served as a guest service manager. Rogers is also a Disney Aspire alumni and has her Master of Science in Management.

Rogers was chosen from a group of cast members “including Shawny Morey from Sales & Services, Steve Paul from Front Desk, and Serena Valdez Duenas from Entertainment,” according to the Disney Parks blog post.

Rogers spoke about her new role at an event celebrating the recent 12th anniversary of the Aulani Resort.

What an honor. I’m truly humbled to be your Aulani Ambassador. It’s not something that I take lightly, it’s a kuleana, a responsibility that I feel, and I will work my hardest every single day to be worthy of this for all of you . . . I know with Kanoa [Kawai] and our former Ambassadors, Janelle Sanqui, Manakō Tanaka and Alyssa-Lende Kane, there’s such a strong foundation that’s already been built here. I can’t wait to build further on that, and elevate Aulani Resort and all of you”

According to the Disney Parks Blog, “Aulani Ambassadors represent the resort and cast members through internal recognition events, community and Disney VoluntEAR events, media interviews, social media, and guest interactions.”

Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa is a Disney-owned and operated resort in Kapolei, HI (just outside of Honolulu) on the island of Oahu. It opened on August 29, 2011, as Disney’s third resort hotel not directly affiliated with a theme park; the other two are Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, which opened in Florida in 1995, and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, which opened in South Carolina in 1996.

At Aulani Resort, guests can enjoy Hawaii-inspired cuisine, expansive pools and water slides, a fitness center, live entertainment, and character meet and greets. Managed by Disney Vacation Club, Aulani Resort was designed by legendary Imagineer Joe Rohde, who was the lead designer on Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort, that park’s Pandora — The World of Avatar expansion, and the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT overhaul of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure, amongst various other attractions. Rohde officially retired from Walt Disney Imagineering in early 2021.
