Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs is back open today, Sunday, September 3, after closing for two days due to a broken air conditioning unit.

Gideon’s Bakehouse Reopens

Gideon’s Bakehouse is a popular quick-service cookie and coffee shop in The Landing section of Disney Springs. It’s usually open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with long lines of guests hoping to try their unique and giant cookies. Gideon’s Bakehouse first announced they would be closed due to the A/C issue on August 31. The closure continued through September 1 and 2 as temperatures in the store pushed 100 degrees. The A/C unit was replaced and now Gideon’s is “back, baby!”

They shared the news on their Instagram story.

The Gideon’s Bakehouse location at East End Market in Orlando remained open the past few days and launched their September offerings as planned. These offerings will now be available at Disney Springs, too.

Each month, Gideon’s offers a limited-edition cookie and collectible menu. This month’s new cookies are the Lemon Poppy Crumb Cookie and the Orange Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie.
