Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passholders will be able to preview this year’s Holiday Tribute Store on November 9 from 11:00 a.m. until park closure at Universal Studios Florida. Universal Orlando Resort announced the news alongside several other Annual Passholder perks for their 2023 holiday season on the morning of October 19, 2023.
2023 Holiday Tribute Store UOAP Preview Date Announced
A general opening date has not yet been announced for the 2023 Holiday Tribute Store, but it will likely be shortly, if not almost immediately, after Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passholder previews are offered. Looking at the Halloween Horror Nights 32 Tribute Store (the most recent Tribute Store) as an example, Annual Passholder previews were offered on August 30 before the store opened to the general public on August 31.
Tribute Stores are large-scale experiences offered for select events and holidays at Universal Studios Florida. The stores combine retail, dining, and large-scale decorations and act as temporary walkthrough attractions. The Tribute Store, as a concept, launched in 2015 for that year’s Halloween Horror Nights event, but has since expanded to include Mardi Gras and the holiday season. A Jurassic Park Tribute Store operated throughout the recent summer at Universal Studios Florida in celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary.
Though a specific theme for this year’s Holiday Tribute Store has not yet been announced, last year’s was themed to a department store. Check out our full video tour here:
This year’s Holiday Tribute Store will be in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida. Guests interested in having their photo displayed at the 2023 Holiday Tribute Store can currently have their photo taken at Universal Studios Florida at Five and Dime, the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, or the All Hallows Eve Boutique in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The image will be placed atop an 8 x 12 postcard placard featuring Earl the Squirrel and displayed inside the Holiday Tribute Store. Guests will be able to take the placard home with them after the holiday season. The experience costs $89.
Other Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passholder perks announced alongside the Holiday Tribute Store preview date include 20% off The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast, a holiday UOAP car decal, exclusive food and beverage items at select locations, and much more.
Holiday Season at Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort will officially begin celebrating the holiday season on November 17, 2023. Celebrations will last through December 31, 2023.
Offerings for this year’s holiday season include Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, the return of “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show on Hogwarts Castle in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast (offered this year at Confisco Grille), and Universal’s Holiday Tour, bookings for which are now available.
