NEW Mickey and Minnie Holiday Ear Headband Arrives at Walt Disney World Resort

Changing temperatures and thinning calendars can only mean one thing — the holiday season is rapidly approaching. Get a jump start on your festive spirit with this new Mickey and Minnie Holiday Ear Headband now available at Walt Disney World Resort. We found this yuletide accessory in the Fantasy Faire shop near Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom.

The headband features Mickey and Minnie Mouse engaging in wintertime activities such as ice-skating and building a snowman (it doesn’t look as though they invited Anna). Each ear features a royal blue backdrop, with silver glitter detailing around the border and atop each ear creating tree-like imagery.

Minnie ice skates on snow (an impressive feat) on the left ear. She’s wearing a pink winter sweater and a maroon winter cap as her scarf and tail flap in the wind behind her. White snowflakes fall in front of the shiny silver trees.

Mickey is putting the finishing touches on a snowman on the left ear. Mickey wears a gray sweater and hat as he shakes the snowman’s hand. The snowman is wearing a blue scarf, blue winter hat, maroon ear muffs, and brown oven mitts to warm his (presumably twig) hands. Shiny white snowflakes again fall in front of the silver trees.

The Mickey and Minnie Holiday Ear Headband is topped with a pink satin bow. The shiny silver material wraps around most of the padded headband, with a royal blue non-slip velour covering the interior of the accessory.

Mickey and Minnie do not appear on the back of the headband. The silver glitter detailing again expands from around the edges of each ear backing to create shiny tree-like shapes.

This Mickey and Minnie Holiday Ear Headband is also available on shopDisney. It’s part of the Disney Seasonal Homestead Collection, which also includes several Mickey and Friends-adorned crewneck sweaters, other articles of clothing, additional accessories, and even a pair of Crocs. A few pieces of home decor from this line arrived at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom in late September, but this is the first article of clothing from the collection that we’ve seen at Walt Disney World Resort. All of the items are currently available on shopDisney.

That said, there’s no shortage of holiday merchandise currently available at Walt Disney World Resort. We spotted new Walt Disney World Resort-exclusive Christmas and Hanukkah merchandise at various retail locations in Magic Kingdom earlier this month.
