Commemorate your authentic British dining or pint-drinking experience at EPCOT with an aesthetic souvenir that recently arrived at the park. A new button-up shirt celebrating the Rose & Crown Pub and Rose & Crown Dining Room is now available at the park; we found the shirt in The Crown & Crest shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion.
Rose & Crown Button-Up Shirt – $59.99
The dark red shirt features two logos that are repeated across the fabric. The more visually striking icon is a text logo that reads “Rose and Crown Pub;” the font is white and features gold detailing, and the word “Crown” is underlined by a golden icon that looks similar to a banner.
The other logo is a circular emblem that features a large “RC” at its center. “Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room” is written around the exterior of the circle, and the name is broken up by “Est. 1982,” which is written in gold. Golden outlines of a crown and rose appear atop and below the emblem, respectively, an obvious reference to the restaurant’s name. The particular crown and rose icons appear to be lifted from a sign that hangs from the exterior of the restaurant.
The buttons of the shirt are the same dark shade of red as the fabric. The two-logo pattern is repeated across the entire shirt and in the interior of the collar.
Rose & Crown
The Rose & Crown is an authentic British pub and restaurant located inside the United Kingdom Pavilion in the World Showcase neighborhood of EPCOT. The establishment contains two sections: the Rose & Crown Pub, which is themed to a traditional British corner pub and serves pints of beer, wine, and mixed drinks in addition to soft beverages, and the Rose & Crown Dining Room, which offers traditional British cuisine such as Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, and more.
A live pianist performs at the establishment six times per day. Given its scenic location on the edge of World Showcase Lagoon, the Rose & Crown is a popular location from which guests watch EPCOT’s nighttime spectaculars. Walt Disney World Resort is already offering dining packages at the restaurant for “Luminous: The Symphony of Us,” the new nighttime spectacular that debuts at EPCOT on December 5. The package will provide guests with an authentic British meal and a breathtaking view of the show; it costs $89 per adult and $39 per child (aged 3-9).
The restaurant has inspired several other pieces of merchandise in the past, with a hoodie, pint glass, shot glass, and more debuting in 2021. Some of these items are still available at the United Kingdom Pavilion.
