Get a (hyperspace) jump on your holiday spirit with two new “Star Wars”-inspired ear headbands now available at Disneyland Resort. One of the headbands tells a humorous festive joke, while the other allows you to don an updated take on an iconic hairstyle.
We found both of these headbands at The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park.
Star Wars Holiday Ear Headband – $34.99
This ear headband is a part of the new “Star Wars” Vintage Holiday Collection that recently debuted across Disney Parks and on shopDisney. The line features artwork from “Star Wars: A Vader Family Sithmas,” a 2021 children’s book written by Jeffrey Brown.
This particular headband is covered in black faux leather and contains the comic strip-like imagery consistent with the rest of the collection on both ears.
On one ear, a young Luke Skywalker stands next to a Christmas tree topped with a Death Star ornament. He speaks to (spoilers) his father on the other ear, telling him that he knows “there’s good in [him].”
Darth Vader stands in front of a pile of holiday presents on the other ear. He responds to Luke, saying “It’s too late for me, son. I’m on the naughty list.”
A red velvet bow sits between the ears atop the padded headband. The back of the headband contains no imagery.
This headband is also available on shopDisney for $34.99. This particular interaction between Luke and Darth Vader is also showcased on the line’s crewneck sweater.
Princess Leia Headband – $34.99
Do you want to replicate Princess Leia’s iconic hairstyle but don’t have the proper hair length (or time) to do it justice? Then this headband has you covered.
The corduroy-covered ears contain a swirling design, replicating the appearance of Leia’s hair as it looked during her debut in 1977’s “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope,” the first “Star Wars” film.
A white fabric bow sits between the ears. The corduroy covers the front and back of each ear and the padded headband, and the swirling design also appears on both sides of each ear.
This headband is also available on shopDisney for $34.99. It’s part of another new “Star Wars” collection that also contains a spirit jersey featuring a stylized depiction of the heroine and R2-D2 and a family set of matching pajamas — both of those items are available on shopDisney.
The new ear headbands are just a few of the several new pieces of “Star Wars” merchandise that recently landed at Disneyland Resort. A Loth-cat plush debuted at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District earlier this month, and an entire collection celebrating Bantha Burgers, a fictional in-universe fast food chain, arrived at the resort throughout the summer complete with jackets, shirts, and magnets.
