The Magic Kingdom and subsequently the Multiple Parks (Park Hopping) Genie+ options have sold out for the second day in a row this week.

The Magic Kingdom and Multiple Parks options were unavailable by noon, but Genie+ is still available for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Genie+ reached its highest price points yesterday and today.

  • Multiple Parks (valid with Park Hopper): $35
  • Magic Kingdom: $35
  • EPCOT: $28
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $32
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $25

The high pricing and sell-outs aren’t a surprise given it’s the week of American Thanksgiving, which means more guests than usual are visiting Walt Disney World. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, November 23.

When Genie+ first launched, the service was available at a flat rate of $15 per person, per day. Last fall, it switched to date-based and park-variable pricing, with a new high price of $22 for Magic Kingdom in October. Around Thanksgiving 2022, it reached $29. By the 2023 spring break season, Genie+ was reaching the new $35 high. During the slow season, its lowest price was $15 – $20 depending on the park.

Disney Genie Services Explained

Disney Genie is a free feature that launched in October 2021 at Walt Disney World. Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane are the paid programs that replaced FastPass+. Genie+ includes Lightning Lane access to most attractions, guests just need to select an attraction and return time.

Some Individual Lightning Lanes are separate purchases from Genie+. Disney’s newest and most popular rides have Individual Lightning Lane offered to all guests, whether they have purchased Genie+ or not, and pricing has always been date-based.
