If you find yourself living just north of Who-ville around the holidays and looking down on the whole Christmas season, commiserate as you meet The Grinch himself at this merry meet and greet at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Meet the Grinch at Universal Studios Hollywood
The Grinch is meeting with guests in Universal Plaza, which transforms into Grinchmas this time of the year. The Grinch draws a large crowd and his line can get very long, so if you’re of the humbug sort, we would definitely recommending queuing as early as possible for this meet and greet.
The Grinch is meeting guests in his Santa costume, and is barely distinguishable from Mr. Claus himself. When you meet the Grinch, his clean-shaven face and bushy green eyebrows are the only giveaway that he isn’t actually The Big Man.
The Who-Ville Post Office creates a cute and charming juxtaposition as you meet with The Mean One. When you meet The Grinch, he is ready with sharp wit and a serious scowl that could frighten the holiday spirit out of the jolliest of Christmas elfs.
As we met with The Grinch, he was displeased with our Disney phone case, and insisted we get another before coming to visit him again. We promised to do so before we bid him a fond, if grouchy, farewell.
No visit to Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood would be complete without telling Max that he’s a very good boy. You can meet Max and take photos with him as part of the Who-bilation.
Max is ready to meet his adoring fans, complete with his excellent reindeer hood and cozy scarf. He’s also meeting in Universal Plaza.
If pulling the sleigh full of all the Whos’ holiday decorations and gifts was just another day for Max, you can bet that this sit-stay is no problem for The Grinch’s trusty sidekick.
He was very tuned in to his handler, and did an excellent job posing with guests.
We snapped a selfie with him and are pretty sure he’s the “goodest” boy.
