Captain Monica Rambeau will make her debut as a meet-and-greet character at Disney Parks on November 10. Disney announced that the character will appear alongside Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in celebration of the release of “The Marvels,” the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe entry which released domestically on the same day as Monica’s debut.

Disney has announced that Monica and her “The Marvels” partners will only appear in Avengers Campus for a limited time.
The Monica Rambeau character debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2019, with a young version of the character portrayed by Akira Akbar appearing in “Captain Marvel.” An older version of the character portrayed by Teyonah Parris appeared in the “WandaVision” Disney+ series in 2021; Parris reprises her role as Rambeau in “The Marvels.”
Rambeau will appear alongside Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan, who have both appeared in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in the past. Danvers made her Disney Parks debut in March of 2019, appearing in Avengers Campus to coincide with the release of “Captain Marvel” and International Women’s Day. Khan debuted in June of 2022, appearing on the same day as the premiere of the “Ms. Marvel” Disney+ series. Khan is the program’s protagonist.
The appearance of “The Marvels” team in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is just one of several ways that Disney Parks are celebrating the release of the film. A drone show inspired by the new film debuted at Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris earlier this month. Several pieces of “The Marvels” merchandise debuted at Walt Disney World Resort in early November; according to Disney, that merchandise will soon be available on shopDisney.
Disney announced Rambeau’s debut alongside a Cosmic Entanglement Disney PhotoPass Lens available at Disney California Adventure; the lens is available only for guests who purchase the Disney Genie+ service. Guests will also be able to take a Magic Shot with a Flerkitten. Exclusive “The Marvels”-inspired cocktails — the Photon Blast and Cosmic Entanglement — have also recently debuted at Disney Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel at Disneyland Paris, while Khan will soon start appearing alongside Danvers at Hong Kong Disneyland for a limited time.

“The Marvels” stars the aforementioned Parris as Captain Monica Rambeau, Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan.

In addition to Larson, Parris, and Vellani, the film also stars Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Nia DaCosta directs.
