The Magic Kingdom has debuted a new Christmas show: “Frozen Holiday Surprise,” a projection-based production at Cinderella Castle performing nightly.
Frozen Holiday Surprise
Frozen Holiday Surprise is approximately seven minutes long and is performed each night at 6:15 p.m. Guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will have a second opportunity to see the show at 8:15 p.m.
During the show, over 100 Snowgies appear on Cinderella Castle through projection technology. They help Olaf (who appears in person as a costumed character) decorate the castle with a “Happy Holidays” banner, garlands, and more. Some items are straight out of “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.”
Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff arrive for the celebration, with the sisters wearing their winter costumes from “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.”
The characters sing portions of “Ring in the Season” and “That Time of Year.”
Elsa uses her magic to transform the castle.
Pyrotechnics go off and giant snowflakes are projected on the castle.
The castle becomes an ice palace just like Elsa’s.

“Frozen Holiday Surprise” replaces the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights package, which is permanently retired. The Dream Lights illuminated Cinderella Castle with icicle-inspired lights. The chilly package ran from 2007 to 2019. In the later years, a small show with “Frozen” characters was added and Elsa would use her magic to turn on the Dream Lights each night.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a separately ticketed event at Magic Kingdom, will take place on select nights from November 9 through December 22; select nights are already sold out.
Offerings at the party include Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show in front of Cinderella Castle, and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Showtimes were announced this week.
There are also exclusive character meet and greets, holiday attraction overlays, complimentary treats, and merchandise.
This year’s food and beverage guide has also been released, which you can check out here.
