There are plenty of places to get a drink or two, but here are a few of our favorite hidden spots that you might be missing out on. If you’re looking for strong drinks, chill vibes, or live music, there’s something for everyone on this list. Grab your friends and get ready for a night out. It’s five o’clock somewhere, right?
Strong Water Tavern
Strong Water Tavern is located at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, which you can access by water taxi from Universal CityWalk. You can also park at the resort and have your parking validated by the restaurant. This spot can get busy and does accept reservations if you want to plan ahead.
The Team Members at this location are incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, which features a variety of Caribbean-style plates and some potent rums. These drinks are expertly crafted by an amazing bar staff and the food is fantastic. You will not be disappointed with anything from this menu.
Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom
This spot is tucked away on the upper level of CityWalk and is most often overlooked by guests. But if you know, you know! These drinks pack a punch, too. The live music and delicious Jamaican dishes will keep you there all night. Whether you’re stopping in to grab a table for dinner or just jammin’ out at the bar with a good drink, Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom is worth the visit. The bar also has a walk-up window if you’re looking to grab some of the best drinks in CityWalk and take them to-go.
Universal’s Great Movie Escape
Universal’s Great Movie Escape is located in CityWalk and is more than just a way to escape into the movies. This location is home to two incredibly immersive escape room-type experiences themed to “Jurassic World” and “Back to the Future,” but we continue to return again and again for the amazing bars inside.
There’s a bar located on each floor of the venue and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you’re looking for cocktails or mocktails, Universal’s Great Movie Escape has you covered. The bar opens at 10 a.m., so you can start your day with the Silent Era espresso martini or a mimosa. This spot is worth a trip whether you want to grab a drink to-go or get comfortable in a chair and relax away from the crowds. The atmosphere is very chill and quiet, which makes it the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing evening with a Raptor Bite.

Bar 17 Bistro
This hidden gem is located at the top of the Aventura Hotel. The views are absolutely breathtaking and give you a birds-eye view of Orlando.
From the 17th floor of the hotel, you can see everything. Get here early to grab a good spot for sunset!
The drinks can be hit or miss, but the food is always fantastic and you can’t beat the view. The views and food alone are worth the visit.
Bar 17 Bistro has a laid-back atmosphere most of the week, but there is a DJ on the weekends. It’s a much different vibe on Friday and Saturday Nights.
The Thirsty Fish Bar
The Thirsty Fish over at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel has incredibly refreshing drinks and some beautiful views.
The boat ride over from the parks will put you just a few steps away from the Thirsty Fish, so it’s very easy to get to after a day in the parks.
