Today marked the beginning of the new Avis sponsorship at Autopia in Disneyland Paris, and with it came newly-added Autopia billboards as part of the attraction, according to DLP Report on X. Avis became the official car rental partner of Disneyland Paris earlier this year.
New Autopia Billboards Featuring Avis
The two new billboards advertise “services d’excellence” and “voitures premium” — excellent services and premium cars.
The “Services d’Excellence” billboard also reads “location de voitures,” or “car rental” in French. Art of two riders in a futuristic vehicle alongside an Avis robot are also pictured. The Avis logo is featured in red toward the bottom right.
The “Voitures Premium” billboard also reads “en tous lieux” below, meaning “in all places” in French. A retro-futuristic red car is shown, with a driver and passenger sitting in the backseat as they travel to various locales. The Avis logo is included at the bottom of the billboard.
According to @StoryThemeParks on X, the billboards for Solaria, Astrocoupe, and Rocket Café are still present, and these new billboards are simply additions rather than replacements.
Autopia and Avis
Through this sponsorship, Autopia will get updates “infused with Disney magic and nods to the Avis brand,” like the billboards above. Disneyland Paris stated that Autopia, presented by Avis, “promises guests an adventure with new scenic elements designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.”
In addition to the billboards, Avis signage has been added alongside the photo op car in front of Autopia. The car was also painted to Avis’ signature red color.
In addition, guests who ride Autopia will receive a new commemorative driver’s license featuring a red car and the Avis logo. There are blanks to fill in your name, age, weight, eye color, hair color, and signature.
The attraction also got a new poster to celebrate the sponsorship.
