Disney Cruise Line Releases Full List of Port Adventures for Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

Disney Cruise Line’s newest destination, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, is set to welcome sailings starting this summer. In preparation for this debut, the full list of Port Adventures has been released.

Port Adventures for Lookout Cay

According to the Disney Cruise Line official website, there are 16 Port Adventures for guests to choose from as add-ons for their cruise.

Bahama Bank Escape

  • Prices: $109 (ages 10 and up) and $79 (ages 8 to 9)
  • Activity Level & Duration: Athletic, 2 hours
  • Experience Type: Beach and water adventures, nature, sightseeing

Guests will meet their guide at Turbit Berth, then take a short walk down to the marina where the catamaran awaits. A 15-20 minute sailing to the Bahama Bank (similar site based on sea and weather conditions) will lead to guests snorkeling through crystal-clear waters or relaxing on a floating mat under a shady umbrella. Water toys will also be available for younger adventurers.

After about an hour of exploration, guests will board their vessel and sail back to Disney Lookout Cay, enjoying a cup of non-alcoholic fruit punch along the way.

Banana Boat

This Port Adventure begins at Turbit Berth, where guests will meet their guide and hear a safety briefing before donning lifejackets and taking a short walk down to the marina. After that, guests will board the Banana Boat and hold on as they take a thrilling ride around the shores of Disney Lookout Cay while being towed in the wake of a motor boat.

After the fun is over, guests will head back to Turbit Berth.

Bicycle Rental

  • Prices: $15 (ages 10 and up) and $15 (ages 3 to 9)
  • Activity Level & Duration: Moderate, active; 1 hour
  • Experience Type: Nature, sightseeing
  • Age: 3 years and up

Guests will pick up their bikes at the Bike Rentals stand before setting off on a 2-wheeled adventure through Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Riders will be able to pedal at their own pace, exploring the winding paths that lead to a nature trail.

On this Port Adventure, guests will meet a guide at Mabrika Cove Bicycle Rentals to pick up their bikes before going on a short ride to the kayak center for a safety briefing. Afterward, a 30 minute session of tandem kayaking close to shore will take place. Guests will have the option to kayak for an extra 15 minutes, or spend their remaining time snorkeling. The excursion concludes with a bike ride back to the Mabrika Cove Bicycle Rentals.

Certified Scuba Trip

Guests will gather at Turbit Berth before taking a short walk down to the marina to board a 20-30 minute catamaran ride to the Boiling Hole Reef (or a similar site depending on weather and sea conditions).

A trained divemaster will lead a guided dive in the reef area, as guests explore underwater and see diverse marine life at varying depths. After about an hour of exploration, guests will re-board the catamaran and sail back to Disney Lookout Cay, cup of non-alcoholic fruit punch in hand.

Ebike, Sand, Snorkel and History Tour

This Port Adventure begins with guests meeting their guide at Mabrika Cove Tram Stop to pick up a helmet and ebike, as well as hear a safety briefing. After that, guests will ride single file along a scenic route, exiting Disney Lookout Cay and entering southern Eleuthera.

The excursion will include stops at the Ruins of the Anglican Church, Sarah Miller’s Plantation, and the homecoming site. Attendees will learn more about the church’s history, the first settlers, the plantation, and South Eleuthera’s trade.

The tour will continue to Millers Beach, where guests will have some time to enjoy the sun, snorkel, or swim. Afterward, guests will return to Disney Lookout Cay via vehicle transportation.

Historical Nature and Awesome Buggy Tour – 2 Person

On this excursion, guests will meet their experienced guide at Mabrika Cove Tramp Stop to pick up equipment and get a safety briefing. After that, guests will board a 2-person buggy and set out on scenic routes and off-road trails.

At Gaulding Cay, the group will make a stop to enjoy the area’s white-sand beach, before continuing the adventure through a variety of terrain. The final stop will be a short walk to the lighthouse, which will offer panoramic views of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, before heading back to Bannerman Town.

Historical Nature and Awesome Buggy Tour – 4 Person

Groups on this Port Adventure will set out on a private SUV experience through South Eleuthera, with the freedom to follow their own itinerary at their own pace. The SUV will be air-conditioned, and a driver-guide will lead guests and share points of interest and historical facts along the tour.

Guests will meet their private driver-guide at Mabrika Crove Tram Stop to discuss their plans for the experience; there is also an option to allow the driver-guide to customize the itinerary for you. Some of the highlights include visiting Ocean Hole, Cathedral Cave, Pink Beach, and Rock Sound Shipping Dock and Market.

Private Historical and Cultural Tour – VAN

Snorkel by Boat

Guests will meet their guide at Turbit Berth before boarding a vessel at the marina. Guests will explore the shallow waters of The Bahamas, snorkeling amongst schools of tropical fish and coral reefs.

Attendees will also have the option to explore a second snorkeling site, or enjoy a swim at a secluded sandbar.

Snorkel by Boat – Certified Scuba Observer

Cruisers will meet their guide for this excursion at Turbit Berth, where they will take a short walk down to the marina to board a catamaran. Onboard, guests will be fitted with their snorkeling equipment, and all guests unfamiliar with snorkeling will get a briefing.

The catamaran will then depart the marina and sail for 20 to 30 minutes to the Boiling Hole Reef, or a similar site based on weather and sea conditions. There, guests will be joined by safety snorkelers as they embark on a guided snorkeling adventure.

After just about an hour, guests will reboard the vessel and sail back to Disney Lookout Cay.

Snorkel Rental

Guests interested in snorkrel rental can head to Flippers and Fins to grab their gear and receive instruction. After that, guests can explore the waters around Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, with the ability to come and go from the beach as they please.

When your day comes to a close, you can simply return your gear to Flippers and Fins.

South Eleuthera Eco and Cultural Tour

On this Port Adventure, guests will meet with their guide at Mabrika Cove Tram Stop before setting out on a 35-minute drive to Rock Sound. While on the way, guests will learn about the array of medicinal plants that grow along the road. A stop will be made a Boiling Hole, before going to Cathedral Cave. Groups will travel for another 20 minutes to reach Ocean Hole, which was once explored by famed oceanographer Jacque Cousteau.

At the Rock Sound Shipping Dock and Market, guests can shop for original handcrafted souvenirs and enjoy Bahamian fare. Later, at Greencastle Junkanoo Shack and Workshop, guests can learn about the cultural history of the Junkanoo festival, and see the handmade floats in person, as well as design and “paste” their own junkanoo costume piece.

The adventure ends with a 30-minute drive back to the ship.

South Eleuthera Eco and Historical Tour

This experience is essentially the same as the one above, but with more of a historical angle on the initial drive and a visit to Bannerman Town, one of South Eleuthera’s earliest and richest settlements.

Tropical Reef Safari Snorkel

Guests will meet their guide at Turbit Berth before taking off on a catamaran, where they will also be fitting with snorkeling gear and hear a safety briefing for those new to the activity.

The vessel will travel for 15 to 20 minutes to the Snorkeling Reef or a similar site, where guests can explore the reef area alongside safety snorkelers. After about an hour of time underwater, guests will reboard the catamaran and head back to shore.

Disney Cruise Line sailings will begin visiting Lookout Cay starting this summer. This will be Disney’s second private destination in The Bahamas, joining Disney’s Castaway Cay. In addition to Port Adventures, the destination will also offer the Goombay Cultural Center, entertainment at Triton’s Trumpet Stage, and locally made gifts and artisan crafts for sale at Treasures of Eleuthera. Serenity Bay will also provide relaxing spaces exclusively for adults ages 18 and older, with a tranquil beach experience, a dining area, and private cabanas available for reservation.
