Merchandise for the new Walt Disney Animation Studios and Kugali Media series “Iwájú” is now available at Disneyland Resort.
All six episodes of “Iwájú” will premiere on Disney+ on February 28, 2024. It’s set in a futuristic sci-fi version of Lagos, Nigeria, and is a coming-of-age story about the characters Tola and Kole, accompanied by the lizard Otin. We found the merchandise at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District.
Adult T-Shirt – $39.99
The adult shirt is dark gray. It features an African-style pattern of dots, stripes, chevrons, and diamonds. The pattern is mostly black but has neon pink, blue, and yellow accents.
A neon pink lizard is pictured on the breast pocket.
Flat Bill Ball Cap – $29.99
The cap is solid black with a patterned brim. The pattern features Tola and Kole in blue and yellow diamonds. A pink braided string runs between the black cap and the brim. Three shapes are embroidered in white on the front.
It has a pink adjustable plastic strap on the back.
Belt Bag – $29.99
The belt bag has the same pattern as the T-shirt. A patch on the front reads “Disney Iwájú the series by Walt Disney Animation Studios and Kugali.” It has two pockets, both with pink plastic zippers.
The strap has a simpler version of the pattern in just black and gray. The buckle is also pink plastic.
Youth T-Shirt – $31.99
The youth shirt is white with a subtle gray diamond pattern in the background. Tola, Kole, and Otin are all pictured on the front with their names and “Team Up.” Some colorful elements are on the sleeves and around the neck.
The back has more of these neon-colored diamonds and lines.
Tumbler with Built-In Straw – $29.99
Tola and Kole are on one side of the water bottle. The background is the same pattern as the belt bag and shirt.
Kole wears a striped shirt and green shorts, while Tola wears purple overalls with an orange shirt.
Otin is pictured on the opposite side with the words “Powerful Together.”
It has a black lid with a built-in straw and blue-white accents.
The tumbler is 19.5 ounces / 577 millileters. It is not dishwasher or microwave-safe.
Keychain – $14.99
The keychain has two charms and a strap attached to a silver ring and lobster claw clip. The strap is teal with black embroidery. One of the charms is silicone. It’s teal with “Powerful Together” in pink. the other charm is made of pleather and depicts an orange lizard with white patterns.
Notebook – $26.99
Tola and Kole are pictured on a patch on the cover of the notebook. It has a green elastic band with an Otin charm. Behind the patch is the same black, gray, and neon pattern that’s featured on other merchandise.
The pattern continues onto the back, where the “Iwájú” logo is also pictured.
The inside of the cover is patterned with lizards and diamonds against a green background.
The pages are lined, with the profile silhouettes of Tola and Kole in the corners.
Pin – $17.99
Lastly, the three main characters are pictured together on this diamond-shaped pin. The “Iwájú” logo is at the bottom.
Except for the pin, we’ve also found all the “Iwájú” merchandise at Walt Disney World.
