A new temporary EPCOT directional sign has been installed on the World Showcase bridge, likely ahead of a permanent sign being installed.

The sign is at the start of the bridge in World Celebration, in front of planters. It’s on the type of box that usually hides pavement construction during the day. We would guess the hidden construction work is preparation for a permanent sign to be installed in this spot.

The temporary sign matches other new EPCOT signage, with arrows in the neighborhood’s signature color (blue for World Celebration) and words in a white sans serif typeface against a black background. This sign points guests to World Showcase, World Discovery, and World Nature.

EPCOT has been undergoing an intensive reimagining — which included the updated signage style and neighborhoods — for the past several years. The World Celebration gardens featuring light-up pavement and the Walt the Dreamer statue finally opened in December 2023, after the center of EPCOT spent years as a construction zone. CommuniCore Hall and Plaza remain under construction in World Celebration.

Several other EPCOT reimagining projects have been indefinitely delayed or canceled, including the Spaceship Earth update, the Play Pavilion, and a Mary Poppins attraction.
