The curse is real! Revenge of the Mummy will be closing for a brief refurbishment this summer at Universal Studios Florida.
Revenge of the Mummy Ride Closure
The attraction will be closed for just under a week, from June 17 to June 22, according to the Universal Orlando site. Guests may remember that Revenge of the Mummy went through a lengthy refurbishment period back in 2022, closing in January, and reopening eight months later in August. In fact, the ride was closed for so long that some fans speculated it was due to Brendan Fraser being removed. Those rumors proved to be false, and the attraction instead reopened with a smoother ride and refreshed effects. This short downtime will make for a much less significant change.
The ride is expected to reopen on June 23, but things are always subject to change, so stay tuned for updates.
