Disney has shared new images and video of more character Audio-Animatronics that will be on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening this summer at Magic Kingdom and later this year at Disneyland Park.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Audio-Animatronics
Shared as promotion for “We Call It Imagineering,” a new YouTube series by Walt Disney Imagineering, the Audio-Animatronics revealed include Mama Odie, Louis the alligator, Prince Ralphie, Charlotte La Bouff, and more Tiana animatronics.
A Louis Audio-Animatronic can be seen holding his trumpet. Through “We Call It Imagineering,” Imagineers have shared details about Louis’ various movements.
Among the 17 character animatronics that will be on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is Prince Ralphie, younger brother to Prince Naveen. He joins the band on drums.
Tiana can be seen wearing her new adventuring outfit, which was created specifically for the attraction.
According to this video, there will be multiple Tianas on the ride, in various states of her costume.
The Mama Odie Audio-Animatronic is one of the more impressive ones previewed in the video. The cast of “The Princess and the Frog” will return to voice their characters for the attraction, including Jenifer Lewis (Mama Odie), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Bruno Campos (Naveen), and Michael Leon Wooley (Louis).
An Instagram Reel also reveals a look at the Audio-Animatronics, including a quick glance at the figures for Charlotte La Bouff and Tiana’s mother, Eudora. Take a look at the short preview here:
These animatronics were also shown off in the first episode of “We Call It Imagineering,” a new video series by Walt Disney Imagineering on YouTube. You can watch the video below:
