‘Hours of Operation’ Screen Installed at CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT

A new screen displaying “Hours of Operation” is visible inside CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT, which is set to open on June 10, 2024.

The screen is behind a currently blank white sign hanging over a window.

"Connect Hours of" sign behind window

We could see “Connect” and “Hours of.” Connections Café and Eatery are across from Creations Shop, on the other side of World Celebration Gardens. “Connect” could be used as a generic heading here, or could refer to something else.

The screen is inside the building, on the other side of the windows. The sign outside is a long oval with a circle at one end.

The building’s exterior paneling seems nearly complete. There are different types of white triangular panels inspired by Spaceship Earth and black panels separating different sections.

The new screen is in an area next to the Mickey & Friends meet and greet entrance.

We also saw crew members working behind the Mickey & Friends sign. The Spaceship Earth-inspired paneling at this corner is open and an EPCOT mural is on the wall behind. Ceiling fans hang between the Spaceship Earth wall and mural, suggesting the meet and greet queue may go outside.

The mural features Mickey & Friends, as well as EPCOT characters like Figment. They’re in a colorful landscape of EPCOT attractions past and present. The full mural was revealed at a Cast Member event last summer.

CommuniCore Hall and Plaza overhangs behind construction walls

Over by CommuniCore Plaza, we saw a crew member in a scissor lift next to the overhang that juts out from the building. Two long overhangs frame the Plaza, which recently gained artificial turf. We’ve seen lights tested under these overhangs.

There’s one blank spot in the black paneling lining this overhang, where it meets the building. A stage is under this overhang and an “Encanto” show will debut when CommuniCore opens.
