After Minion Land and Illumination Avenue took over the former Production Central area at Universal Studios Florida, new additions have arrived in New York. Additionally, the mural and marquee that were being added to the side of the Transformers: The Ride 3-D building have finally been completed.

Work on the mural began in November 2023. Progress has been slow going, but it now matches the concept art, signaling its completion.

The art features a giant Minion head in the background. The pupil of the Minion’s eye says “Bello!” which is “hello” in Minionese. A full portrait of a minion is to the side.

In the spot where the Minion’s goggle band would be are three small character portraits of Buster Moon from “Sing!”, Gru from the “Despicable Me” franchise, and Gidget from “The Secret Life of Pets.” To the top right are three more portraits, depicting Johnny and Gunter from “Sing!” and Snowball from “The Secret Life of Pets.”

Max from “The Secret Life of Pets” is in a white half-circle above the marquee.

A full image of Ash from “Sing!” is seen playing guitar and singing on the bottom left.

The Illumination marquee lights up, and as a fun Easter egg, it occasionally only illuminates the “MIN” and “ION” portions, so the sign reads “Minion.”
