Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Gets New Banner and More at Magic Kingdom

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has seen a few new updates this week, with a new banner, greenery, and more.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Update

Starting out with new signage, just beyond the water tower, you can spot a newly-installed purple banner.

It’s hard to make out, but it appears the sign says both “family and friends” and “New Orleans.” It joins the Tiana’s Foods sign that was also just added to the attraction.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure greenery

Remaining in this area, the plants we spotted crew members installing earlier in the week are now fully in place, adding more greenery to the mountain.

Some of the new greenery can be spotted behind the Louis photo opportunity that’s installed on one of the construction walls.

Frontierland Railroad Station with construction walls

Moving over to the Frontierland Railroad Station and the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue area, the construction walls have once again been moved to accommodate the work happening behind them.

This most recent move has created much less space for guests walking toward the restroom area.

A new plant has been added to the queue area that’s underneath the railroad station. You can see the new addition at the bottom left of the photo above.

Frontierland Railroad Station stairs under construction

The right side staircase for the station that has been closed while it was demolished and rebuilt has made a lot of progress. Though not complete just yet, there is now a full staircase. In the meantime, guests can use the left side staircase to enter and exit the train station.

Former Briar Patch gift shop

The coverings on the doors of the secondary entrance to the former home to the Splash Mountain gift shop, Briar Patch, have been taken down. The windows are still covered. Coverings first went up on the windows of the gift shop back in 2020.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure backside

Even more of the red-orange plants that could be peppers have taken over the backside of the mountain. The fence in the area shifts from having gaps to having no gaps, making some portions easier to see than others.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure roofing

Finally, we noticed that the roofing on the building behind the queue has a unique look, as each section appears to be a different type of roofing.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open this summer at Magic Kingdom. In preparation for the opening, Disney has kicked attraction announcements into high gear, sharing a first-look at Audio-Animatronics to be featured in the ride, releasing an attraction poster, and introducing guests to some of the ride’s musical critters.
