A new Disney Vacation Club member lounge will replace the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade at Magic Kingdom.
Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade Closing
According to Scott Gustin, construction on the lounge will begin this year. Disney will announce more details soon.
We previously reported a rumor that the Shootin’ Arcade would close for a DVC lounge. DVC announced a new lounge in January but didn’t share a location at that time. The Imagination! Pavilion in EPCOT houses a DVC lounge.
Disney has said that the new lounge will be a “pioneer-inspired space,” taking inspiration from “the bygone era of exploration and adventure, per Gustin.
The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade was an opening day offering at Walt Disney World. It previously cost $1 for a game of 35 shots but Disney made it free-to-play in 2021 following an extended closure. Pavement work in the area was completed in October 2023. There is currently a DVC kiosk next to the Shootin’ Arcade.
