Redwood Creek Challenge Trail Reopened

A group of people excitedly gathered under the wooden archway labeled "Redwood Creek Challenge Trail" in an outdoor park area, celebrating its grand reopening.

The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is an interactive walkthrough featuring a rock climb, log slides, and a tire swing. Anyone is allowed on the trail but the activities do have height restrictions. It’s part of Grizzly Peak in Disney California Adventure.

We spoke with a Cast Member and they let us know that the ropes are new, there is new rubber mulch on the ground below the tire swing and everything has been freshly painted.

The Millennium Tree sign explains the history of the tree, including its age and significant events, located amongst greenery with a shed visible in the background.

Here is an example of a freshly painted sign.

The ropes also received an upgrade throughout the land.

The reopening came right in time as the Halloween season is almost here. During the Halloween season, the trail is transformed into Villain’s Grove and a Cast Member-exclusive scare maze.
