Studio Stars has been decorated with Pokémon Halloween banners and decals. These feature DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar, the stars of “Pokémon Jumpin’ Halloween Party,” as well as Banette, Mimikyu, Misdreavus, Litwick, and Pumpkaboo. All but Pikachu are Ghost-type Pokémon — appropriate for Halloween.

Pikachu and the Ghost-type Pokémon also inspired some of the Pokémon Halloween food items.

Pokémon Halloween Food

Colorful meal including a burger with a white bun and decorations, tortilla chips, a pepper, a side salad, a drink with fruit, and a pink dessert slice with chocolate toppings on separate plates.

We got all of the Pokémon Halloween menu items except the DJ Pikachu & DJ Gengar’s Halloween Party Kid’s Set.

Mimikyu’s White Cream Cutlet Burger Plate – ¥2,400

Served with Fries, Tortilla Chips, Salad, and Soft Drink

A meal on a white plate features a burger with a white bun decorated like a Pikachu face, garnished with chips, potato wedges, a cherry tomato, and a circular item with a swirl design.

The first thing that stands out about this pork cutlet burger is its sheer volume. The breaded pork cutlet, perfectly fried to a crisp, is topped with a rich white cream sauce that enhances the flavor of the cutlet.

Inside the burger is a soft-boiled fried egg, which pairs nicely with the cutlet. Accompanying the burger are salad, fries, and chips, each with a generous portion. The variety of flavors and textures here make for a very satisfying meal, and one we would order again on a future visit.

DJ Gengar Appears!? Black Beef Stew in a Pie Crust Plate – ¥2,400

Served with Black Rice, Salad, and Soft Drink

A plate featuring a purple dessert with a Gengar face, purple rice with a Gengar decoration, roasted vegetables, salad greens, and a drink in the background.

This unique dish, themed after Pokémon’s Gengar, features a large puffy purple pastry crust that, when broken, reveals a steaming hot beef stew.

The stew itself is savory and rich, and pairs well with the tender beef inside. The dish is served with multigrain rice, which brings out the flavor of the stew and offers a greater balance to the meal.

We also appreciated that the dish also included grilled pumpkin, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes for color. In the center is a cute DJ Gengar wafer perched atop the rice.

Personally, we thought the pork cutlet burger was more delicious. If you are visiting the park with others and not just eating by yourself, we think it’s a fine choice to get both entrees and share so you can try ’em all.

DJ Pikachu’s Lemon Soda & Sparkling Coaster Set – ¥1,700

Plastic cup with an orange drink featuring Pikachu graphics on a tray, alongside a packaged Pokémon-themed Halloween coaster.

This is a bright and refreshing drink. The zesty lemon soda has a fizzy, energizing taste that awakens your taste buds. It is somewhat sour and very carbonated. The fruit popping balls offer a nice, sweet taste when you bite into them.

The drink comes with a cute Pikachu coaster, and the Pokémon Halloween design makes it a great collectible for fans.

We wouldn’t recommend this if you’re not a fan of carbonated drinks or lemon flavor. We’re personally not huge fans of fizzy drinks, so we don’t think we’ll get it again.

Litwick’s Gooey Yogurt Mousse Cake – ¥1,100

A plated dessert resembling a white ghost-like figure with a blue flame on top, set on a cookie base with saucelike swirls, next to a salad and a yellow beverage.

The first thing we noticed about this dessert was the refreshing sourness of the yogurt. The mousse itself is light and fluffy. Grape jam is hidden in the center, which adds a balancing sweetness to the sour yogurt flavor. At the bottom of the cake is a crispy tart crust, which is an enjoyable contrast in texture and delicious.

We think this is a well-balanced dessert with plenty of freshness, sweetness, and texture. That being said, we don’t think we’d get it again.

Round Pumpkaboo Pumpkin Cake – ¥950

A slice of pink cake with chocolate frosting and a drizzle of yellow sauce on a black plate.

This is truly a Halloween dessert with its striking orange color. The base of the cake is a moist pumpkin-flavored sponge. There’s a generous amount of rich chocolate cream on top, adding to the pumpkin flavor. Chocolate and pumpkin together is a winning combination and tastes luxurious, we think it’s perfect for fall.

The chocolate decoration on top is modeled after the Pokémon Pumpkaboo, which looks like a flying bat pumpkin.

We would recommend you try this cake over the yogurt mousse cake.
