No, you haven’t gone back in time — a new cake castle T-shirt featuring the iconic transformation of Cinderella Castle during the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney World is now available.

It first debuted online at the Disney Store, but guests can now find it in the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom as well.

For the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney World/the Magic Kingdom (back when the anniversaries were celebrated as birthdays), Cinderella Castle underwent a makeover to resemble a giant pink cake. It was a controversial look, as are most changes to the castle. In recent days, fans seem more fondly nostalgic and merchandise featuring the cake castle is usually popular.

Shirts and other merchandise featuring the cake castle have come and gone throughout the years, such as the 25th anniversary series of the Vault Collection. This shirt is a white straight-cut tee with the Cinderella Castle Birthday Cake large in the center. Fireworks burst above the turrets. Beneath the castle is the Walt Disney World logo and “Circa 1996.”

The cake castle debuted on October 1, 1996, and stayed through January 31, 1998. Temporary structural modifications were made to accommodate the additional decor, which included inflatables, fabric, paint, and more. It took 55,040 tablespoons (215 gallons) of pink paint to transform the castle, which was then decked out with colorful candies and candles.
