October 1, 2024 marked the 53rd anniversary of Magic Kingdom, and Disney released an exclusive pin to celebrate the milestone.

It was only a few years ago that we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom. Disney opened the gates of Magic Kingdom back in 1971. During the 50th, Disney released pins specifically for opening day attractions. There were tons of merchandise to celebrate. Typically, Disney is a bit more low-key when it comes to anniversaries, unless it’s a milestone year ending in a 5 or 0.
Recently at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney revealed their Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary logo. They also revealed that a new show featuring a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic will debut for the anniversary.
Magic Kingdom 53rd Anniversary Pin – $22.99
For the 53rd anniversary of Magic Kingdom, Disney released a celebratory pin featuring Mickey Mouse and Pluto peeking around the sides of a giant envelope. The stamp on the front reads “53 Magic Kingdom.”
The top of the envelope is on a hinge, meaning it can open. Under the triangular “flap” is a message saying “Let’s celebrate!” with stars and sparkles.
It is a limited edition pin of 3,000 and costs $22.99. At the time of publication, we’ve only found it for sale in Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom.
