Magic Kingdom
- Magic Kingdom prepared for the hurricane by securing signs and kiosks, tying up umbrellas, and more.
EPCOT
- A new, limited edition Walt Disney World Parades pin has arrived at EPCOT, celebrating the beloved attraction, Muppet*Vision 3D.
New Merchandise
- The new Disney Eats gingerbread collection has been teased on DisneyStore.com.
- Disney Store is celebrating October with 31 Days of Drops, bringing new merchandise each day. The drop for Tuesday, October 8 is the new Mickey Mouse Icon Iridescent collection.
- The Replica C-3PO Premium Electronic Head Relic will be available on DisneyStore.com soon
Other Walt Disney World News
- Osceola County, which includes parts of Walt Disney World, has announced a countywide curfew beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday due to Hurricane Milton.

- Walt Disney World has announced that the parks will remain closed on Thursday, October 10 for Hurricane Milton.
- The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for parts of Florida, including Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, ahead of Hurricane Milton hitting the state.
- Later in the day, Orange County and Osceola County in Florida were both under tornado warnings until 4 p.m. The warnings were then extended by a half hour.
- Bob Iger posted wishes for the safety of everyone in the path of Hurricane Milton, including Disney colleagues and their families.
- Hurricane Milton has been downgraded to a Category 3 hurricane as it approaches the west coast of Florida.
Disneyland Resort
- Disneyland Resort ticket and Lightning Lane prices have increased, and Magic Key sales will resume later this year.
- Disneyland Resort will hold Magic Key previews for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before its grand opening on November 15.
