McDonald’s locations in China are currently offering Shanghai Disney Resort toys featuring Donald Duck, in honor of the character’s 90th birthday earlier this year, and a chance to win a trip to the Disney park.

X user @minnie__HKDL shared a picture of the toys from a Beijing McDonald’s. The location also featured a Shanghai Disney Resort banner advertising Zootopia, which opened at Shanghai Disneyland in 2023.
Each Happy Meal contains one of six Donald Duck toys. Three figures feature Donald on iconic elements of Shanghai Disneyland: the train engine from Mickey’s Storybook Express parade, the crow’s nest of the Siren’s Revenge ship, and a horse from the Fantasia Carousel. The other three put Donald in front of a Shanghai Disneyland backdrop: the entrance to Mickey Avenue, Enchanted Storybook Castle, and the Roaring Mountain.
In addition to the toys, guests also have the chance to win a 3-day, 2-night Shanghai Disney Resort vacation.
Donald Duck turned 90 on June 9, 2024, which was the anniversary of “The Wise Little Hen” (1934), and the first appearance of the duck. Other worldwide celebrations of the character included special merchandise, Donald Duck’s Quack City at Tokyo Disneyland, and an appearance on “Hot Ones.”
