Imagineers shared an Instagram post regarding an important milestone in the construction of World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris.
World of Frozen
In April, during a press conference celebrating the 32nd anniversary of Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris shared a look at the upcoming “Frozen”-themed land. World of Frozen will be on the edge of Adventure Bay, a lake at the center of the park’s expansion. It will be home to a unique entertainment stage with fountains, music, lights, and special effects.
Today, about six months later, Imagineers shared the following on Instagram.
The North Mountain has reached its final peak
One of the images shared shows a crane placing the final piece of the mountain. You can see from the concept art at the top of this post that the peak will overlook the entire land. It will look much taller than it is, thanks to Disney’s use of forced perspective.
Imagineers posed for a picture as The North Mountain piece was hoisted into place, marking a huge milestone in the construction of World of Frozen.
Earlier this year, we reported that the new land will open in 2026. When the land opens, the theme park will also undergo a name change, going from Walt Disney Studios Park to Disney Adventure World. You can view a model of Disney Adventure World which was released during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
