The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Universal Islands of Adventure, one of the most iconic rides in theme park history, will be honored with a Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Thea Award in 2025.
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man Thea Award
The attraction will be honored with the Thea Classic Award, celebrating its 25 years of entertaining and immersing guests.
The honor was announced via an Instagram post from the official Universal Creative account:
Universal has collected other Thea Awards in the past; in 2021, Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan was awarded the Thea Award for Theme Park Land, and the AR technology of Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge was honored with the Thea Award for Technical Innovation.
The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! at Universal Studios Hollywood was also honored with the Thea Award for Outstanding Attraction.
