The Palisades and Eaton fires destroyed the homes of at least 64 Disney Cast Members, while many more remain displaced by the fires. Approximately 100 of them are being housed at the Disneyland Resort, either at the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa or at Pixar Place Hotel.

In addition, Disney is providing up to $4,000 to help cast members cover essential household needs and incidental costs after the wildfires from an employee relief fund.

Disney is also giving employees whose homes were damaged or destroyed two months of free, furnished housing if they can’t go back home immediately once evacuation orders are lifted.

The movie studio’s wardrobe department is also stepping in to provide clothing and footwear to employees who lost their belongings in the fires.

Disney already committed to donating $15M to fire relief efforts in the region.

  1. Wonderful and heartwarming to hear how Disney is helping their employees! I don’t recall hearing any of this reported by national news. Maybe ABC but didn’t catch it.
