The new version of the Play in the Park merchandise collection has been slowly arriving at Walt Disney World, and now some pre-packaged sweets and treats are available.
We found all items at Riverside Depot in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, though they will likely be stocked in more locations across the resort soon.
Play in the Park Sweets and Treats
Play in the Park Caramel & Cheese Popcorn – $6.49
The popcorn is a mix of caramel and cheddar. The bag is clear with colorful Play in the Park graphics. Mickey and Minnie are jumping in excitement, surrounded by circles with park imagery, including Space Mountain, Grizzly River Run, the Jungle Cruise, TRON Lightcycle Run, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Pineapple Swirl Cotton Candy – $6.50
Get DOLE Whip-inspired cotton candy with the Play in the Parks Pineapple Swirl flavor. It features a combination of pineapple and vanilla flavored candy floss. The plastic bucket has Mickey enjoying a pineapple DOLE Whip cone in front of an amalgam of images including attractions like the “it’s a small world” clock, snacks like Mickey Premium Bars, and other park-related items like a Minnie Ear Headband and sunglasses.
Assorted Taffy – $9.99
The box of assorted taffy contains a random selection of the following flavors: buttered popcorn, pineapple swirl, churro, cotton candy, and caramel apple. The box is bright blue with a Fantasyland Castle. Mickey and Minnie are in the foreground with fireworks in the background.
One side of the box has Goofy, Chip, and Dale in front of Spaceship Earth, the Tree of Life, and part of The Hollywood Tower Hotel. The Millennium Falcon takes flight in the sky above.
On another side, Donald and Pluto run past the Carthay Circle Restaurant, Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, and the Pixar Pal-a-Round. In the sky above is the sun from Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and a hang-glider from Soarin’.
The bottom of the box has a repeating pattern of more imagery, with an autograph book, Mickey ear hat, Jungle Cruise boat, and more.
Castle Gummies – $7.49
These Fantasyland Castle-shaped gummies are an assortment of strawberry, blue raspberry, and fruit punch flavors. The bag is bright yellow with a collage of images featuring Mickey & Friends around the parks. From left to right, top to bottom are a Fantasyland Castle; Donald running; Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald on Space Mountain; Daisy and Pluto on Mad Tea Party; Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy on Big Thunder Mountain; Mickey and Minnie jumping; Goofy; Chip ‘n Dale; and Daisy.
Chocolate Bar Set – $16.99
This set comes with different flavors of chocolate bars, each featuring a member of the Fab Five. Goofy is in front of the Pixar Pal-a-Round on the dark chocolate bar. A milk chocolate bar with rice crisps features Minnie, the Carthay Circle Restaurant, and a glider from Soarin’. Mickey stars on the plain milk chocolate in front of a Fantasyland Castle. Donald, Spaceship Earth, and the Hollywood Tower Hotel are on the wrapper for a bar of dark chocolate with sea salt. Animal Kingdom’s Tree of Life is on the last bar, a milk chocolate bar with peanut butter flavored chips, along with Daisy, Chip, and Dale.
Crisped Rice Cereal Treat Set – $16.49
A lot of the imagery comes together on the large package for a set of four crisped rice cereal treats, which are dipped in chocolate and sprinkles.
The new Play in the Park line includes apparel, a Spirit Jersey and Loungefly bag, a Minnie Ear Headband, and more.
