The new Disney Wonderful World of Sweets has officially opened at Downtown Disney District. Take a full photo and video tour below to see all the candies, baked goods, decor, and meet the shop’s original characters.
Exterior

The exterior of the store has a neon blue and pink marquee sign above the doors that reads “Disney Wonderful World of Sweets.” The doors and windows are all glass giving a view of all the sweets inside. Above the doors and windows are ribbons and starbursts with Minnie and Mickey-shaped sweet treats on either side of the store’s sign. The space above the windows depicts various colored sprinkles on a blue background.

In one of the store’s windows is a display of what resembles a castle-like candy factory. It’s made up of pastel turrets, gears, and candies. A large gear on the front has a peppermint Mickey at the center with lollipops all around it. A candy train sits near the bottom.

The train has a small blue sign that reads “Next stop Marceline, MO” referencing Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, as well as the former shop, Marceline’s Confectionary.
Interior

Cast Members were at the checkout counter waiting to assist guests. Behind them were cases and refrigerators filled with treats. Above the cases are display pieces resembling different candies and sweets. On the left is a blue Mickey peppermint swirl and a Sorcerer Mickey caramel apple. On the right is a treat shaped like Minnie with a pink and white bow and one shaped like Mickey (named Lolli) with a smiling face.

The wall behind the registers has gold dots and starbursts with gold trim and a sign that reads “Disney Wonderful World of Sweets.” Above the word “Sweets” is a pastel pink, blue, yellow, and green candy castle. The word “Sweets” is pink to blue color with gold accents.

The phrase “A wonderful Place with the Sweetest Taste” is printed near the top of one of the interior walls. Gold starbursts decorate the wall around the wording. Beneath the phrase are small display windows of pastel treats, some Mickey-shaped. A large yellow and pink swirl adorns the ceiling above.

A pastel mural with nods to different Disneyland attractions is above a wall full of prepackaged treats and snacks. The left side of the mural references the Mark Twain Riverboat. At the center is a reference to “it’s a small world.” The rocket on the right is likely a nod to the Moonliner in Tomorrowland. Other candy motifs decorate the mural as well including lollipops, ice cream cones, and a Mickey peppermint swirl.
Prepackaged Sweets and Snacks

Various prepackaged sweets and snacks line the walls below the mural. Some of the treats on the left and center walls include Unicorn Pops, Gummi Butterflies, Gummi Disney Characters, Sour Balls, Sour Mini Belts, Spuir Gummi Worms, Rock Candy Sticks, and Mickey Lollipops. Treats on the right wall include Cotton Candy, Gummy Characters, Gummy Fish, Gummy Drops, Sour Flowers, Gummy Pizza, and Taffy.
Poppi Popcorn Bucket – $29.99

Signage in the store advertises a new Poppi popcorn bucket that is available for purchase.

Poppi resembles a piece of popcorn and wears a blue Mickey ear hat. There’s are several new original characters in the store themed to Disney treats.

The Mickey hat serves as the bucket’s lid and lifts up to store popcorn inside. The top is attached to the rest of the bucket by a hinge on the back.

The strap is an all-over design of various treats including Mickey-shaped caramel apples, cookies, cupcakes, and Poppi.
Cast Member Costumes

The Cast Member costumes fit right into the theme of the store. The collared shirts are striped with pastel pink, yellow, and blue. The apron is brown and features an all-over pattern of brown Mickey-shaped treats and sprinkles.

The aprons are reversible and the opposite side is blue with red, pink, and purple Mickey-shaped treats and sprinkles.
Kitchen

The kitchen is on display inside the store and guests can watch through the glass windows as the confectionaries are created and prepared by Cast Members.

Cast Members are decorating Mickey caramel apples to be sold at the shop. The back wall reads “Hand Made with Magic.” The right wall has a blue starburst with the candy castle inside and the phrase “Hand Made with Magic” surrounding the castle.
