Two magical milkshakes inspired by Disney California Adventure. Left: a whimsical blend with blue whipped cream, stars, Oreos, red coating, and yellow sprinkles. Right: a delightful nod to a Strawberry-Banana Split Shake with whipped cream, cherry, Oreos on the rim, and nuts.

We found both of these new snacks at Schmoozies! in Hollywood Land.

Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Shake – $13.79

A delightful Strawberry-Banana Split Shake topped with blue whipped cream, Oreo cookies, and star-shaped sprinkles, held right in front of Mickey's PhilharMagic entrance at Disney California Adventure.

with Blue Whipped Topping and Chocolate Creme-filled Cookie Ears

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey is a renamed version of the Sorcerer Mickey Shake that appeared in 2019. We are glad to see it back, as this cookies-and-cream milkshake base is one of our absolute favorites. The ice cream is not too sweet, and it has just the right blend of chunky cookie bits without becoming chewy.

A delightful Milkshake topped with blue whipped cream, star-shaped sprinkles, yellow jimmies, and Oreo cookies is held in hand with a blurred background, reminiscent of the whimsical magic found at Disney California Adventure.

The blue whipped topping and red sprinkles don’t add a whole lot of additional flavor, though we enjoyed dipping the Oreo ears in the rest of the ice cream. Our only real critique is to be prepared for the bright blue food coloring to stain your mouth.

Strawberry-Banana Split Shake – $9.79

A hand holds up a Strawberry-Banana Split Shake topped with whipped cream, a cherry, Oreo cookies, and a candy ring. In the background is a building adorned with blue and yellow accents, reminiscent of the enchanting hues found at Disney California Adventure.

with Whipped Topping, Chocolate Sauce, Peanuts, and Creme-filled Chocolate Cookies, topped with a cherry

The description labels this shake as strawberry and banana, but our was definitely heavier with the banana. As long as you don’t mind a strong banana flavor, this would still be great.

A hand holds a Strawberry-Banana Split Shake topped with whipped cream, cherries, and cookies. The cup is rimmed with crushed nuts. In the background, people stroll past a vibrant building at Disney California Adventure.

The cup is topped with all the flavors of a real banana split, including whip cream, chocolate sauce, nuts, and a cherry. We thought the ice cream’s texture was nice and creamy.
