Continuing the latest wave of returning foods to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Shake and the Strawberry-Banana Split Shake have both returned for a food review.

We found both of these new snacks at Schmoozies! in Hollywood Land.
Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Shake – $13.79

with Blue Whipped Topping and Chocolate Creme-filled Cookie Ears
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey is a renamed version of the Sorcerer Mickey Shake that appeared in 2019. We are glad to see it back, as this cookies-and-cream milkshake base is one of our absolute favorites. The ice cream is not too sweet, and it has just the right blend of chunky cookie bits without becoming chewy.

The blue whipped topping and red sprinkles don’t add a whole lot of additional flavor, though we enjoyed dipping the Oreo ears in the rest of the ice cream. Our only real critique is to be prepared for the bright blue food coloring to stain your mouth.

Strawberry-Banana Split Shake – $9.79

with Whipped Topping, Chocolate Sauce, Peanuts, and Creme-filled Chocolate Cookies, topped with a cherry
The description labels this shake as strawberry and banana, but our was definitely heavier with the banana. As long as you don’t mind a strong banana flavor, this would still be great.

The cup is topped with all the flavors of a real banana split, including whip cream, chocolate sauce, nuts, and a cherry. We thought the ice cream’s texture was nice and creamy.
