On this episode, we’re taking a look ahead at Disney Parks in 2025!

Happy New Year! This is our first episode back, and we’re looking ahead to the next year in Disney Parks. With Epic Universe on the horizon over at Universal, it seems that Disney has decided to go lite on brand-new attractions, and is basically updating existing entertainment and adding a few lounge spaces for the new year. Is this is right strategy? Also, we’ll discuss each of the announced offerings for 2025 and reveal what we’re looking forward to the most.

Catching up on parks news, there are so many closures and refurbishments set for early 2025 at Walt Disney World. With the insane crowds we just witnessed for the holidays, will this impact your vacation? In addition to many areas about to be closed for new attractions, several short- and long-term maintenance projects are happening around the resort. We’ll give you the complete rundown!

One immediate thing we’re excited about is the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts that begins on January 17th. With many artists, food booths, new merch, and more – it’s our favorite festival. However, we’re very anxious to see how they use the new Communicore Hall flex space for this event. The past few festivals have let us down with the decor and overall use. This time, Disney will be using it to celebrate 30 years of Disney on Broadway. Last chance to show us what can be done!

While we were off, the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows officially opened, and the WDWNT team was there to document the latest addition to the Disney Vacation Club. From the food, to the room, to the views, we’ll share our thoughts – but is any of it good enough to make up for the outside?

The next ship in the Disney fleet, the Disney Treasure had its maiden voyage at the end of 2024. We’re looking back at all the images and reviews and sharing some of our favorite features of the latest Disney Cruise Line ship.

We’ll also discuss recent issues with AI use in the parks, a survey about adding the Simpsons to Disney Parks, new Single Rider offerings, a recap of New Year’s celebrations, and more!

Join us for all of this and MUCH MUCH more tonight on ParksCenter!
