Theming has arrived for two returning Global Gardens at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Prehistoric Garden
The Prehistoric Garden has moved to a new location. In previous years, it was in a planter more directly in front of Mission: SPACE. It’s now in this triangle-shaped planter between Mission: SPACE and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
The garden features plant life that has been around since the age of the dinosaurs. Here is the description from last year’s sign:
Millions of years ago, dinosaurs roamed vast coniferous forests with ancient trees, colossal cycads, ferns, and mosses.
Over millennia of geographical information, these prehistoric plants became the coal and oil we use as fuel today.
There are black bowl planters within the flowerbed. These hold mosses, ferns, and other featured plants. There are no signs yet but once complete, the plants will be labeled.

Dinosaur figures are hidden among the prehistoric plants. These colorful plastic toys stand out among the mostly green and brown plants.

Prop rocks have fake fossilized dinosaur bones embedded in them. One appears to hold a T. rex skull and claw. Another has the small skeleton of a full dinosaur.
More small black planters are set up next to the larger stone planter, extending the garden.
These planters also feature dinosaurs, like this purple and blue Hadrosaur.
Shakespeare Garden
Work has started on the Shakespeare Garden in the United Kingdom pavilion. This garden showcases flowers mentioned in Shakespeare’s sonnets and plays. Some fresh flowers have been planted and the Bard’s likeness has arrived in the form of a bust.
The garden’s signs will feature Shakespeare quotes referencing the flowers.
Disney will add a new “Inside Out 2” garden where guests can “discover the language of emotions as shown in plants.” Check out all of last year’s Global Gardens.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2025 will be from March 5 to June 2.
