Disney has updated their release schedule for upcoming movies, including another delay for Pixar’s “Elio.”
Disney Release Dates

According to Deadline, the new release date for Pixar’s “Elio” will be June 20, 2025, instead of the previously announced date of June 13.
The film was set to release on the same date as Universal and DreamWorks’ “How to Train Your Dragon” but will instead compete with the more adult-oriented Columbia Pictures film “28 Years Later.”
Though it was only moved by a week, this is the second delay for “Elio,” which was originally scheduled for release on March 1, 2024.
Added to the schedule is 20th Century Studios’ “Ella McCay” starring Woody Harrelson and Rebecca Hall, which will release on September 9, 2025. Also from 20th Century Studios, Sam Raimi’s “Send Help” starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien will be out on January 30, 2026.
The untitled Disney projects previously scheduled for release on September 12, 2025, and January 16, 2026, have been removed from the schedule. An untitled Disney film is now slated for October 24, 2025.
Following Friday’s release of “Captain America: Brave New World,” Disney’s upcoming 2025 releases include “Snow White” (March 21), “Thunderbolts*” (May 2), live-action “Lilo & Stitch” (May 23), “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” (July 25), “Freakier Friday” (August 8), “Tron: Ares” (October 10), “Zootopia 2” (November 26), and “Avatar: Fire and Ash” (December 29).
