New costumes have been revealed for Cast Members working at Disney Style and Disney Glamour, two new stores opening at Disneyland Paris next month.
New Cast Member Costumes
The costumes were first revealed in an Instagram reel on the Disneyland Paris Ambassadors (@dlpambassador) page.
The costumes were created for the opening of two new stores, Disney Style and Disney Glamour, coming to Disney Village at Disneyland Paris.
Tsvetislav Andreev, the costume designer, shared that the idea for the costume was “to create a contemporary and timeless look reminiscent of the classic shopping galleries of Paris.”
The costume has a nod to macarons with the Jacquard fabric vest displaying an all-over pattern of small colorful dots. The same design will also be available in the shops.
Andreev shares that the design process started in 2022 with a meeting with Walt Disney Imagineering in Paris. It was at that time that they shared the concept art for the new costumes.
Celine Chamard, Textile Development Technician, also shared her role in the costume creation process. Her focus is on sourcing the materials and collaborating closely with the designer for a final result that correlates with the design.
The two new stores, Disney Style and Disney Glamour, will open on March 8, 2025. Disney Style will be a boutique where guests can find new outfits and accessories with some being exclusive to the shop. The boutique will also offer macarons for guests to enjoy while shopping. Disney Glamour will also be a boutique and will feature a wide range of jewelry, clothing, and elegant accessories including Pandora.
