A new blind box featuring the Minions dressed in Zodiac-inspired outfits has arrived at Universal Orlando Resort.
The new boxes are available at the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.
Minions Zodiac Blind Box – $24
The blind box display is marked with a large standee of a minion dressed as a rooster, holding a golden egg. In front of the standee, a clear case displays all 13 of the possible Minions guests can get from the boxes.
Twelve of the 13 Minions are dressed in outfits to match one of the Zodiac animals. The animals on the left included a horse, sheep, monkey, rat, cow, and tiger. The figures are made of hard plastic, but the fur of the animal outfits is soft. Each character holds an icon related to their animal in their hands, such as the monkey holding a banana and the rat holding cheese.
The animals on the right side of the display case included a dog, pig, rooster, rabbit, dragon, and snake. The figure in the middle of the case, which matches the large Minion display, is a special edition of the rooster figure, with pink feathers and a gold egg. The regular rooster has a white egg and yellow feathers. The inclusion of the special rooster chase is why there are 13 total figures to collect, even though the traditional Zodiac only has 12 animals.
The blind boxes for the figures are white with a silver silhouette of a Minion. The silhouette printed on each box is the same and does not reflect which figure will be inside the box. A sticker in the bottom right corner notes that the Minions Zodiac Blind Box is a Universal Studios park-exclusive item.
Both sides of the box once again show all of the 13 Minions. The hidden edition is the special rooster we saw inside the display case, though it is only shown here in silhouette form.
The opposite side of the box shows the remaining six figures. Each box contains a single randomized Minion.
