The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Ferry Water Taxi at Disney’s Old Key West Resort that transports guests to Disney Springs is temporarily unavailable.

The DVC Ferry, also known as the water taxi service, that transports guests from the resort to Disney Springs is not currently operating.

Signage at the DVC Ferry dock informs guests that “Water taxi service from Old Key West to Disney Springs is not operational at this time. Please rely on bus services.”

A sign at Disney Springs lists rules and instructions, including screening procedures and prohibited items, with a scenic backdrop of trees, water, and a bridge.

During this time, guests will need to use bus transportation to travel to Disney Springs. A sign blocking the entrance to the ferry displays Disney Springs rules and information.

According to Cast Members, the dock is being redone and the boat service is expected to be closed for a few months. A reopening date has not yet been announced, and the length of time required for the work to be completed is unclear.

The Sassagoula River Cruise service is still available, which transports guests from Disney’s Old Key West Resort to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and the Treehouse Villas.
