REVIEW: New Chicken Tender Meals Arrive at Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs has introduced new chicken tender meals to the menu, and we were there to try two of the dishes (and one extra item) for review.

Everglazed Donuts’ New Chicken Tender Meals

Three takeout trays with food: waffle fries, chicken tenders, donuts, a chicken sandwich with slaw in a colorful box, and sauce containers, set on a light surface with a green background.

The new items include Chicken & Donut, Chicken Little Combo, Big Chicken Combo, and a Hot Honey Chicken Combo — though we opted to only try two of these.

Chicken & Donut – $9

Served with choice of dipping sauce

A tray with a glazed donut, a piece of fried chicken, and a small container of sauce, held by a hand.

In our opinion, this dish does not really stand out, especially for the price. That being said, this chicken tender is better than the ones served at quick-service locations on Disney property. The chicken was crisp, cooked well, and soft on the inside. It’s served with your choice of dipping sauce; we went with the Korean BBQ sauce and the flavor was more akin to that of a deep-smoked BBQ.

Hot Honey Chicken Combo – $18

Served with hot honey garlic dipping sauce

A hand holds a container with crinkle-cut fries, fried chicken pieces, a glazed donut, and a small sauce cup. Background features an orange wall and pavement.

The combo is definitely a shareable-sized offering. We absolutely love the garlic sauce. The fries are well-seasoned and not too salty. As we mentioned, the chicken tenders are much better than Disney’s chicken tenders as they are much more tender and juicy.

The Funky Chicken – $15

Fried chicken tenders, ranch slaw, BBQ, spicy mayo, and B&B pickles served on a sweet bun

A hand holds a fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and sauce, set against a vibrant pink and orange background.

Although it’s not one of the new chicken tender menu items, it’s still a newer sandwich offering at Everglazed that we’ve been wanting to review. The sandwich is served on a sweet bun, but you can pay $1 extra to have glazed donuts as the bun instead.

One of our reporters simply said it’s the “best chicken sandwich.” The price is not exactly cheap but we still love it. The coleslaw here is among the best we’ve ever had. The flavor is mellow and it’s creamy and refreshing.

The chicken is crispy, though a bit heavy when paired with the BBQ sauce, but the coleslaw makes everything perfect. The portion size is large, so we suggest grabbing this sandwich when you are really hungry or have a friend on-hand to help.
