The Tomorrowland Speedway driver’s license kiosks in Magic Kingdom are temporarily unavailable.
Tomorrowland Speedway Driver’s License Kiosk
The driver’s license photo booths were originally introduced in 2017. They are located by the stroller parking near the steps that lead to the catwalk over the speedway. The signage above the booths reads “Been there. Done that. Got my driver’s license.”
Per the Cast Member we spoke with, the issue is due to a power outage backstage that the kiosks are also connected to.
The cost of the experience is $7 per photo, including tax, and guests can either pay via cash, card, or MagicBand. To have your photo taken for the driver’s license, simply enter one of the booths and follow the onscreen prompt. There is a blurb below the price that informs guests their video and audio are being recorded and plated on the monitor outside the photo booth.
There is a camera inside with directions on where to look for the photo and the ability to reposition the camera. At the end of the process, you will then receive a printed hard plastic driver’s license. You’ll also receive a digital certificate that is linked to your PhotoPass photos on the My Disney Experience app.
The top of the license reads “Tomorrowland Speedway license of tomorrow.” Below that is the guest’s headshot on a Mickey background with the issue date, class, and record ID to the right.
Cast Members told us to check back later in the day and the offering should be operational once again.
