Guests using the Universal Orlando Resort app can now access air quality information.
Universal Orlando App Air Quality Information

Upon opening the app, guests can click on the “Map” option which will open the screen displaying the interactive Universal Orlando Resort map. In the upper left-hand corner is an oval icon with an air quality reading. The oval contains the abbreviation “AQI” (Air Quality Index) with a number and colored dot next to it.

If you tap the air quality icon it will open the website for AirNow. According to airnow.gov, AirNow is “your one-stop source for air quality data,” and “highlights air quality in your local area.”
When we checked the app there was a green dot reflected beside the “23” air quality reading which reflects the “good” air quality reading on AirNow.

We also checked the Universal Studios Hollywood app to see if air quality information had been added there as well. Despite the recent wildfires in California, there was no air quality feature displayed on the app.

I want to know when the app will be updated to include Epic and the new hotels. The last I checked the new Stella Nova restaurants weren’t available on the app, although that hotel is open. Are they going to update the app after the whole park and three hotels are open (May 22) or sooner? The eating places at the other Universal Orlando hotels are available on the app, for menus, reservations and/or ordering.
