Disney has started to prepare for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2025. The first topiaries were installed. There are also fresh flowerbeds throughout the park, as well as continued work on a new playground and the butterfly garden.
Panda Topiaries
The trio of panda topiaries have returned to the China pavilion. These topiaries depict three pandas enjoying bamboo. They can be seen in a flowerbed near the front of the pavilion.
Troll Topiary
The troll topiary has also returned to the Norway pavilion, waving to guests as they pass by in World Showcase.
Bambi, Thumper, & Flower Topiaries

Bambi, Thumper, & Flower are near the entrance to World Showcase, not far from the Canada pavilion.

Disney has not yet announced the full list of topiaries that will be displayed at this year’s festival but there will be a new Moana topiary.
More Flower & Garden Festival Preparation
Crews have started creating special flowerbeds along the park’s lagoons. Near CommuniCore Plaza, green grass has been replaced with floral displays shaped like butterflies and giant flowers.
The land along the Rosewalk, leading towards World Showcase, has also been cleared and is currently a long patch of dirt. More flowerbeds will go here. Last year, a Goofy topiary was also in this area.
Disney announced that the playground under construction behind the Expression Section will be the Playalong Bay Play Garden presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables, inspired by Stormalong Bay pool at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The temporary playground features a “Cozy Dome,” and slanted sets of posts that look like ship masts.
In World Nature, the butterfly garden’s space is blocked by green scrim. White poles will act as supports for the garden’s tent. A curved pathway in the center of the dirt site is where guests will walk through the tent.
There are cables connecting the supports. A wooden fence is up around the dirt patch in the center.
There are also some short elements to support props or signs.
A Mickey-shaped flowerbed now adorns a grassy bank near the France pavilion.
By the water near the Odyssey pavilion, the butterfly and flower-shaped displays appear to be complete.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2025 will have an “Inside Out 2” garden, CommuniCore Hall gallery, and merchandise inspired by Orange Bird, Spike the Bee, and “Alice in Wonderland.” It begins on March 5 and runs through June 2.
