Additional concrete facade walls at Universal Studios Store have been painted blue after others recently received a fresh coat of bright yellow paint as expansion work continues in CityWalk.

Colorful panels with historic images line a construction barrier painted blue in an outdoor shopping area, with a restaurant and red umbrellas visible above.

In our last update, black paneling had now been installed on the awning of the Universal Studios Store expansion. A coating of blue paint was also added to the top of the roof. Now, additional walls have received a coat of blue paint.

The addition of blue and yellow paint to walls on the store’s exterior could be a nod to the general aesthetic of Universal Orlando Resort or possibly Nintendo. The store will host a Super Nintendo World section when it reopens.

Construction barrier and signs block the entrance to the Universal Studios Store. A ladder leans against the concrete walls, with iconic "Universal Studios" and "CityWalk" signage towering above.

Ladders are still present in the area as painting continues on the top of the awning which surrounds the entire exterior and resembles a movie filmstrip. When the Universal Studios Store expansion is complete, it will contain a new Harry Potter section along with the Super Nintendo section. The expanded store will also carry Epic Universe merchandise.

The former Cinnabon and Quiet Flight Surf Shop closed in 2024 to make way for the current Universal Studios Store expansion. A new permanent location of Cinnabon recently opened. The permanent kiosk is located near Bigfire and Margaritaville at Universal CityWalk.
