Marvel Studios is revealing the cast of “Avengers: Doomsday” one name at a time via an hours-long livestream of director’s chairs.

Cumming played Nightcrawler in Fox’s “X2” (2003).

Only the actors’ names have been revealed, and, given how much multiverse-hopping there has been in the MCU of late, we don’t know for sure what characters or versions of characters they will all play.

Patrick Stewart and Kelsey Grammer are also reprising their roles as Professor X and Beast, respectively. Stewart portrayed a variant of the character in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” while Grammer appeared as Beast at the end of “The Marvels.”

Stay tuned for more casting updates as the live stream continues.

“Avengers: Doomsday” will be in theaters on May 1, 2026, followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars” on May 7, 2027.
