Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is undergoing a refresh to “elevate” the guest experience over the next few months, Disney announced.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Refresh
The refresh includes the temporary closure of the hotel’s Disney California Adventure entrance for construction of updated, enhanced entry gates. The entrance is closed from March 10 through mid-May but hotel guests can enter Disney California Adventure through an alternate entrance next to the hotel.

Work on the hotel extends to its restaurants. Storytellers Cafe will close temporarily for a few weeks starting in March to refresh the restaurant’s kitchen. During the closure, a modified experience will be available in Trillium Room.
Napa Rose restaurant will close temporarily in April for a longer reimagining. It’s scheduled to reopen in the fall of 2025. During the refurbishment, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures will be in Trillium Room.
Work will be limited to daylight hours.

Glad that Napa Rose is getting a remodel or renovation. It has strong doctor lobby vibes. LOL. We were disappointed. The only eatery at GCH with a ‘Napa’ vibe is the GCH Craftsman Grill, that has great ambiance.
