During a preview at Disneyland’s Season of the Force 2025, we were able to get a sneak peek at the “Reclaimed and Reforged” lightsabers coming to Savi’s Workshop starting May 4. The new line of “scrap metal parts” used to make custom hilts will be available in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A sign underneath a constructed lightsaber reads “Savi’s Workshop Reclaimed and Reforged Hilt” and “Arriving this May.” The “Reclaimed and Reforged” theme joins the themes of “Peace and Justice,” “Power and Control,” “Elemental Nature,” and “Protection and Defense.” These themes determine what lightsaber parts you use during the Savi’s Workshop experience.

In an up close look at some of the available “scrap metal,” which Disney describes as “remnants of ancient battles and abandoned scrap have been scavenged from the distant reaches of the galaxy’s outer rim.” The pieces look worn and used.

Guests will soon be able to turn these pieces of scrap into “elegant tools that symbolize balance in The Force.”
The new experience was originally announced as a part of “Season of the Force” at Disneyland Resort. However, the experience will also be available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, starting on Star Wars Day and continuing while supplies last.
