The construction continues on the new roof structure being added near Woody’s Lunch Box, with one of the missing panels returned to its original place and a new fire alarm.

Roof Structure Progress at Woody’s Lunch Box

A colorful entrance to Toy Story Land greets visitors with oversized toy decorations, while Woody's Lunch beckons nearby, nestled under a creatively designed roof structure against the clear blue sky.

The addition of a roof structure to help shade some of the seating by Woody’s Lunch Box has been ongoing since 2022, though it appears the project is finally developing at a more rapid pace.

The outdoor seating area features colorful string lights and umbrellas beneath a blue roof structure. Surrounded by greenery, it's a bright day with clear skies, providing a welcoming atmosphere.

The new roofs are comprised of three structures designed to look like a large building toy, with yellow and red supports holding up a blue roof. Once complete, they will hopefully better block the Florida sun than the small umbrellas currently used in the area.

Woody's Lunch offers a vibrant outdoor seating area with colorful tables, chairs, and umbrellas. String lights twinkle overhead beneath a unique roof structure, while trees grace the backdrop under a clear blue sky.

As always, the construction zone is separated from the regular seating area using some rolling planters. Most of the construction work can be seen above the plants.

The structure furthest to the left continues to be the least complete. A few weeks ago, a single metal panel was attached to some of the cross-bars. However, when we checked on the construction progress last week, the metal piece had been removed.

Metal frame structure with beams and circular cutouts, set against a clear blue sky. A fire alarm hangs subtly on the side. Bushes and tree branches are visible in the background.

This teal-blue panel has now been installed again, in a similar location to where it was previously. There appears to be no major changes made to the panel, so we can only guess as to why it was removed.

Colorful overhanging lights and a sleek metal roof structure create a whimsical vibe, with trees gently swaying in the background under a clear sky.

The panel removal may have had something to do with this newly-installed fire alarm system in the middle of the structure. The fire alarm is bright red and has connection wires running down to the back of the metal beams.

A colorful outdoor area adorned with oversized Christmas lights and umbrellas, sheltered by a unique roof structure, all surrounded by lush greenery and blue skies.

The second of the three structures is nearly completely covered by metal panels, but we still expect this section will get the same plastic blue covering as the structure on the right. No major changes have been made here since our last update.

Under a clear blue sky, the colorful theme park awning features oversized colored bulbs and vibrant yellow support beams. A large blue overhang adds charm to the scene, with Woody's Lunch nearby serving up delightful treats for all ages.

The structure on the far right continues to be the most complete. Since our last update, the hanging light bulbs attached to loose wires have been installed inside some of the roof’s circular holes. The bulbs can be seen glowing inside several of the play structure-style indents, though they still appear undecorated at the moment.
