A new Disney Pin Trading bag celebrating the 25th anniversary of the activity is now available at Walt Disney World.
We found the bag for sale at Riverside Depot in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, though it is also available at Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. However, stock was limited and the bag sold out at Animal Kingdom shortly after we purchased ours.
Disney Pin Trading 25th Anniversary Bag – 34.99
The bag is black with red piping around the edge. At the center is an embroidered Mickey within a red circle that reads “Pin Trading Disney Parks” atop a yellow banner.
The bag has a detachable black strap that’s clipped to the top of the bag. It can also be used as a belt strap, thanks to the loop on the back.
The inside flap of the bag has an all-over print of different retro Disney pins with the year 2000 on them. The pins feature characters like Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Stitch, and Chip ‘n’ Dale. There are also black flaps on the inside for storing Disney Pins.
Another interior flap near the back shows more of the all-over print. It showcases pins of Tinker Bell, the Monorail, Master Gracey’s gravestone from the Haunted Mansion, and Spaceship Earth.
On the inside of the back flap, there is a mesh zip pocket for storing more pins or other items.
This bag was first available at Disneyland Resort before making its way to Walt Disney World. This year marks 25 years of pin trading and Disney has already released numerous pins celebrating the event. In January Disney released pins featuring different characters with the 25th anniversary logo and last month we found apparel with the Disney pin trading logo. Disney has also released a 25th-anniversary pin trading medal and a baseball cap with the anniversary logo.
