Hello, this is your one and only Nana. Welcome to Nana’s Death Note Princess Diary. I hope you guys are having a magical day today.

Our unofficial intern is back in town, so I’ve been in the parks more than ever. Anyways, let the chaos begin, shall we?

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Good morning from Hollywood Studios, which used to be called Disney-MGM Studios. I was one of the panelists for WDW News Tonight’s March Madness this year, and I shared my love for good old MGM. Here is Nana’s wish list: I wish Disney would bring back Star Wars Weekends and The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.

A display rack contains multiple brochures for Hollywood Studios, showcasing animated characters. A blue wheelchair accessibility sign is visible at the bottom, ensuring inclusivity for all visitors.

Well, as usual, my subject got sidetracked. There was no change to the maps at Hollywood Studios during my visit.

People browsing ornaments and decorations in a store with wooden shelves, reminiscent of Hollywood Studios. The geometric patterned floor and warm lighting create a cozy ambiance, perfect for capturing a stunning photo report.

Today, I am in search of popcorn bucket ornaments. They were released at Disneyland, so I am waiting for them to be released at Walt Disney World. I know I will buy them all. You guys know I’ve been collecting popcorn buckets for a while now, so I must collect those ornaments as well. Yeah, my wallet is crying already. Anyways, the collection is not here yet!

A display of customizable headbands featuring iconic character designs from Hollywood Studios is organized by color on shelves, complete with a step-by-step instruction sign above for the perfect face fix accessory.

But we do have the new Star Wars Create Your Own Headband plushes at Beverly Sunset.

I kept going down Sunset Blvd to Tower Hotel Gifts. They still have the third-party merchandise and regular Tower of Terror merchandise for sale.

A group of people stroll past a large guitar sculpture near a roller coaster at Hollywood Studios. The sky is clear, complemented by palm trees and a building in the background, capturing the vibrant atmosphere in this photo report.

At Rock n Roller Coaster, the giant guitar is still red. A permit was filed not too long ago to repaint it. What color do you think they will repaint this for the Muppets takeover? Green for Kermit?

Sunset Showcase building at Hollywood Studios stands adorned by palm trees and bushes, all set against a blue sky in a scene worthy of any photo report.

Finally, the sign for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is fully down. This theater has always had a hard time bringing people in due to the location; however, I think the new Disney Villains show will do well.

People walk past a building under construction at Hollywood Studios, with teal barriers and signs reading "Apparel," "Accessories," and "Jewelry" against a pink facade.

At Keystone Clothiers, the door is still walled off and covered in scrim.

A small blue backpack featuring Disney's Cinderella Castle is held in a store, evoking the magic of Hollywood Studios. Nearby, other Disney-themed bags are displayed, creating a perfect photo report of enchanted merchandise.

But the new Cinderella Castle Lug bag has been restocked!

People gather in a theme park area with towering wooden structures and trees. A banner overhead reads "Jurassic Park," as if straight from a photo report. Clear skies enhance the cinematic vibe, reminiscent of Hollywood Studios.

My Star Tours… Nobody has touched it yet. My AT-AT is looking good too.

The fountain, reminiscent of a Hollywood Studios set, showcases a central statue with dolphins and a figure holding a torch. Spouting water surrounds them as trees and buildings frame the scene under the clear blue sky.

T-70 days until MuppetVision closes. I need to eat my lunch at Pizzerizzo soon. Chicken Caesar salad and a Large Coke saved me from the heat during Star Wars Weekends in 2015. I have great memories from Star Wars Weekends; one day, I’ll talk about them.

I moved on to Galaxy’s Edge, where they destroyed my Star Wars Weekends and The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.

Under a sunny sky, people stroll toward a futuristic building at Hollywood Studios, its sleek design seamlessly integrating with the surrounding trees, as if captured in a vivid photo report.

Star Wars: Rise of the Restance is still offering Single Rider.

In a rustic-themed room reminiscent of a Hollywood Studios set, people gather near a fenced structure adorned with various objects and a flag. It's as if 8J-8D's Face is captured in this vivid PHOTO REPORT moment.

Oh My God, my workaholic droid man (8D-J8)’s face has been fixed! If you read Nana’s last death note Princess Diary, his face was looking toward the right and you couldn’t see his face.

On top of that, he is now blinking! He hasn’t blinked since I started to check on him.

Also, Dok-Ondar is back! I see the maintenance team is working hard in Galaxy’s Edge. Thank you.

Visitors explore a themed toy store filled with colorful displays, toys, and apparel at Hollywood Studios. It's like stepping onto a vibrant photo report scene where every corner could be the backdrop for 8J-8D's Face, making shopping an unforgettable adventure.

Toy Story Land was hot as usual, and Jessie’s Trading Post was busy, also as usual. I remember it looked like a daycare when they were renovating.

One Man’s Dream still has Ariel from the live-action “The Little Mermaid” meeting guests, and nothing in the showcase.

A historic train station building with a clock tower and American flag on top, surrounded by green trees under a blue sky with clouds—a scene worthy of a Hollywood Studios backdrop.

This was my loop today, but like I said earlier, our unofficial intern is here so we went to Magic Kingdom to peep the new DVC lounge.

The new McKim’s Mile House lounge is tinier than I thought, and now I know why their waitlist gets full by noon. In my opinion, it’s good to have a DVC lounge in Magic Kingdom, however, the waitlist getting full by noon is such an inconvenience. Most of the guests would like to swing by in the afternoon when Florida is getting hot, but maybe I’m the only one.

Three women pose with a person dressed as a queen in a purple robe and crown, set against a dramatic backdrop, creating the perfect photo report for Hollywood Studios.

Anyways, this week was full of joy and fun, but now I need to run back to the park, so I will talk about this in the next princess diary.

A large flock of seagulls scattered across an empty parking lot with trees and a few parked cars in the background, as if ready for their moment at Hollywood Studios; it's a scene worthy of a PHOTO REPORT.

Have a Magical Day, everyone, and see you real soon!

P.S. – To the lady who said hi to me at my local Target, I loved your dapper dan loungefly wallet and thank you for watching the Candy Cauldron review!

  1. I’m with you Nana! I miss SWW so much and the projection show on ToT is no where near a good as the Osborne Lights were.
